high tide, low tide

this is an amendment to a post i made about hydraulic fracturing and the contamination of water ways in the state of PA. click the link, the cleanest line, to the right and scroll down to read about what Patagonia is considering one of America's endangered rivers. it is a very sad state to put the words endangered and rivers in the same sentence. the only consumable water is fresh water, and the only way to turn a renewable resource into a non-renewable resource is by polluting that resource. our country is very much heading into a severe state of disrepair and it all stems from our greed as a population. we need everything under the sun to keep our lives "connected," when in fact we are becoming more disconnected from what should matter the most. fresh water and going green can not be bought at Walmart. those things are priceless.

check out what other folks are doing to prolong our existence, care for the health of the Earth and bridge the gap between farm to fashion at billabong: wear a shirt, save an ocean.
